This high-quality, black sand is perfect for adding detail and realism to your Gothic railway model, dark fantasy wargaming terrain, or other dark-themed scale modelling project. It is made from real sand that has been washed and graded to ensure a consistent particle size.

Modelling Sand - Black can be used to create a variety of effects, such as:

To use Modelling Sand - Black, simply apply it to your surface using a brush or your fingers. You can then secure it in place with a water-based adhesive. Once the adhesive has dried, you can paint the sand or decorate it in any way you like.

Example uses:

  • Create a volcanic model diorama with ash and cinders made from Modelling Sand - Black.
  • Add Modelling Sand - Black to your sci-fi wargaming table to create a scene that looks like it is set on a lava-filled planet.

  • For a more realistic effect, you can mix different colours of Geek Gaming Scenic Modelling Sand together.
  • To add texture to your sand, you can use a variety of tools, such as brushes, combs, and spatulas.
  • Allow the sand to dry completely before painting or otherwise finishing it

Instructions for use

  1. Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the surface where you want to apply the sand
  2. Place the sand onto the adhesive.
  3. Allow the adhesive to dry completely.
  4. Once the adhesive is dry, you can paint the sand to create different effects, such as different types of terrain or even weathered and mossy looks.
